Ruby Eagle, 96 of Ashland passed away Monday August
29, 2016 at Crystal Care.  She was born June 8, 1920 in
Woodsfield, OH the daughter of Roy and Twila Sloan Smith.
On November 22, 1937 Ruby married Woodrow Eagle.
She was a homemaker all her life who loved to cook.
She also loved taking care of her garden and her flower beds.  Ruby loved her family and will be greatly missed by them all.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Schoonover, a granddaughter, Lisa (Keith) Shriner, and
2 great granddaughters, Addison Smith and Abby Shriner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Woodrow
Eagle, a brother, Clayton Smith and a son-in-law, Woody Schoonover.
Private graveside funeral services will be in the Jeromesville Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no calling hours.
