Robert Beck, 86 of Ashland died Sunday June 14, 2015 at Crystal Care Nursing Home.

He was born August 31, 1928 in Wadsworth the son of Earl and Myrtle Richert Beck.

He was a trouble shooter for cables for General Telephone Co. and member of the 3rd

Street Church of the Brethren.  He was a boy scout leader and volunteer firefighter at

Seville, Wadsworth and Mifflin.  Bob loved music and was a charter member of the Fun

Center Chordsman Barber Shop Chorus of Mansfield.  He drove Limo's for Fox Limo Service.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Rohrer Beck, to whom he was married December 17, 1948,

a son, Mike Beck of Ashland, three daughters, Vonn Miller of Ashland, Laura (Charles)

White of Ashland and Lisa Spencer of Wooster, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren,

1 great great granddaughter, several step great grandchildren and a sister, Gloria Sheppard

of Seville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Leon Beck, and a son-in-law, Kelvin

Miller.

A memorial service will be 7:00 PM Friday June 19, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville with Pastor Glenn Sprunger officiating.

Friends may call Friday June 19, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
