Richard Lee Heldenbrand, 67 of Ashland died Thursday

May 14, 2015 at Hospice House.  He was born

August 25, 1947 in Mansfield the son of Clarence and

Marjorie Beecher Heldenbrand.  Richard was a

1965 graduate of Hillsdale High School and a US Army

Veteran serving in Korea in the Vietnam

Era.  He graduated from North Central Tech in 1967, with a Mechanical Engineering Degree

and worked as a programmer for Timkin Roller Bearing.  A man of Faith, he was a member

of the Church of the Nazarene and was also an avid car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Fulk Heldenbrand, to whom he was married August 25,

1967, a son, Scott (Carla) Heldenbrand of Ashland, two daughters, Deanna Heldenbrand of

Chicago and Danelle (Derek) Jackson of Columbus, 3 grandchildren, Tristan Jackson, Megan

Heldenbrand and Marissa Heldenbrand, and a brother, Robert Heldenbrand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, David Heldenbrand and Lowell

Heldenbrand.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Dave Langdon officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery where the Ashland

Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites.  Friends may call Monday May 18, 2015

from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
