Obituary

Rebecca Jane Stull, 73 of Wooster died Thursday February 15, 2018 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster after a 6 ½ year battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born December 28, 1944 in Wayne Co. the daughter of I.Y. and Miriam Winkler Lawton. She was a 1962 graduate of Wooster High School and worked at Wooster Brush before being a mother and homemaker. Rebecca was a member of the GraceChurch in Wooster and wintered in Florida for 18 years with her husband. She enjoyed baking pies, sewing gardening and loved her flowers, especially her calla lilies. Along with her husband, they owned Stull Farms and Emerson Stull Lawn Service. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life. She is survived by her husband, Emerson Stull to whom she was married on June 13, 1965, two daughters, Andrea (Don) Baney of Wooster and Johanna (Tyler) Smith of Valparaiso, IN, three granddaughters, a great granddaughter, a brother, Isaac (Anna) Lawton of Inman, SC, a sister, Maloa (Bill) Palmer of Chippewa Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Christine Stull, a sister Barbara Ruth, two half brothers, William and Joseph Lawton, and four half sisters, Louise Comley, Mary Schar, Nora Jean Miller and Kathryn Smedley. Private graveside services will be 2:00 PM at Reedsburg Cemetery with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Sunday March 4th, 2018 at Grace Church 4599 Burbank Road Wooster, OH 44691. The family would like to thank the many friends and family who provided support and a special thanks to the compassionate staff at LifeCare Hospice for the care they provided.
