Ralph John Porter, 84 of Polk passed away Saturday July 18, 2026 at Kingston of Ashland. He was

born June 5, 1942 in Athens, OH the son of Chester and Mary Lohse Porter. He served his country in

the United States Air Force before dedicating most of his life to farming. Throughout the years Ralph

also worked in road construction.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Geiser Porter, three sons, Dwight Porter of Polk, Darrell (Cherish)

Porter of Polk and Daniel (Ashley) Porter of Polk, nine grandchildren, Andrew Porter, Breanna

Birkbeck, Marissa Porter, Miranda Porter, Branson Porter, Kaidis Porter, Kinley Porter, Riley Porter and Trenton

Porter and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Duane Porter, two grandchildren, Briley and Brayden

Porter, two brothers, Bob and Dave Porter and a sister, Donna Adams.

Services will be 3:00 PM on Friday July 24, 2026 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor

Allen Imhoff officiating. Burial will follow in Red Haw Cemetery.
