Obituary

On July 21, 2016, peacefully and gracefully, Phyllis, 80, of Ashland, passed away in her home, filled with Love and Memories of a life spent loving GOD, her family, and friends. Never knowing a stranger, she obeyed GOD, doing her best to Love One Another.  She Loved JESUS CHRIST and was humbled and Blessed to know him as her LORD and Personal SAVIOR.
The daughter of Bryan Wesley and Ruth Pearl (Schaad) Dreibelbis, Phyllis was born, by the Blessing of GOD, May 20, 1936, in a farm house in West Salem, Ohio.
Phyllis spent her life dedicated to Loving, caring for, nurturing, and protecting her children.  That love and protective nature continued with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchilden.  She was a bowler, needlepointer, and avid card and game player.   She was an excellent cook and her recipes will go on for generations.
Phyllis is survived by her Daughter, Diana (Larry) Anderson; Sons, Denny (Randi) Bittle and Tim Bittle, all of Ashland; and Loving Grandchildren, Jeremy (Chevele) Anderson, Jermaine (Deanna) Anderson, all of Ashland, Jerome Anderson of Jacksonville, Florida, Lindsey (Josh) Welch, Lauren (Kevin) Scott, Leslie (Sean) Siloy; and Loving Great-grandchildren, Quentin Anderson, Aaliyah Anderson, Jayden Anderson, Jayla Anderson, Brady Welch, Lilly Welch, Kohler Scott, Mia Scott, Ada Scott, and Conner Siloy all of Ashland; and Loving Sisters, Janet Biddinger of Oklahoma, Bonnie Geiser of Columbus, Chosen Loving Sister Nell Sumner of Kentucky; and many Loving Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.
Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Swain; Sisters, Mary Buxton, Martha Weaver, Edna Buchanan, and Irma Green; Brothers, Robert (Jim) Dreibelbis, Donald (Bum) Dreibelbis, Harold (Pat) Dreibelbis, Claire (PeeWee) Dreibelbis, and Gerald Dreibelbis.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with the Funeral directly following at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at the Jeromesville Cemetery.
