Paulette Ann McFarland, 67 formerly of Widowville

died Sunday October 14, 2012 at Hospice House.

She was born October 4, 1945 in Akron the daughter of

George and Dorothy Gardner Krino.  Paulette was a 1963

graduate of Hayesville High School and worked in Data

Entry for Perrysville Pottery, the Flexible Company,

Fry Scientific and Richland Bank.  She had been an active

member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and more recently

of the Stone Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She was a member

of the Hayesville Alumni Committee, the Ashland Co.

Republican Party, the Ashland Co. Historical Society and

the Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs.  She was a former

4-H member and advisor and enjoyed traveling and reading.

Paulette was an avid Ohio State fan.  She loved

Hillsdale High School and Ashland University basketball,

and always looked forward to going to the Boys State

Basketball Tournament every year.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy McFarland

and Mike Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, two aunts, Betty (Gene) Stalnaker

of Tallmadge and Babe Stajcer of Raleigh, NC and numerous

cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lonnie

McFarland on June 24, 1995.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 20, 2012 at Stone

Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Jan Berthinee officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday October 19, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Fickes

Funeral Home in Jeromesville or one hour prior to the service

on Saturday at the church.
