Obituary

Norman Maxwell Dudte, 79 of Mifflin died Monday August 27, 2012

at Brethren Care.  He was born November 21, 1932 in Ashland Co.

the son of Floyd and Nellie Myers Dudte.  He was a U.S. Army

veteran of the Korea War and worked as a Supervisor for Nickles

Bakery.  Along with his wife, Mary Lou, they operated concession

stands at local fairs and festivals for 20 years.  Norm was a member

of the Vermillion Baptist Church, the Mifflin Lions and American Legion

Jerome Post #749.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Raudebaugh Dudte, to whom he was

married September 2, 1953 four children, Vicki (Donald) Carroll of

Estill Springs, TN, Randy Dudte, Ricky (Cathie) Dudte, and Sandy

Dudte, all of Ashland, 8 grandchildren,

16 great grandchildren, a sister, Eula ( Robert) Newton and a brother,

Michael (Joan) Dudte.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Kenneth,

John and Carl Dudte and a sister, Donna Crawford.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday August 30, 2012 at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Jim Luedeman officiating.  Burial

will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday August 29,

2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
