Myriam I. Long, 99 of Ashland died Saturday July 30, 2016 at Good Shepherd

Nursing Home.  She was born May 26, 1917 in Ashland Co. the daughter of George

and Eula Ernsberger Long.  She was a 1935 graduate of Hayesville High School.

She went to Betty Jones Beauty School in Mansfield and worked as a beautician for

different Beauty Shops, until purchasing her own shop in 1945, which she ran for

40 years.  She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, where she

was a Sunday School teacher in the Primary Department, President of E.L.C., a

member of Rebekkah Circle, and helped with reception committee of new members

and with luncheons at the church.  She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Kahl and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Robert Long.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Vermillion

Cemetery in Hayesville.  Pastor Julie Thoms will officiate.  There will be no

calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
