Miriam Leora Smith, 91 of Jeromesville died Sunday March 2, 2014

at Wooster Community Hospital.  She was born January 9, 1923

in Ashland the daughter of Samuel Tilton and Alma Rhea Smeltzer Aten.

She was a Hillsdale Local Schools bus driver for 18 years and

helped her husband, Ralph on the family farm.  Miriam was a member

of the Jerome Post 749 American Legion Axillary.

She is survived by two sons, Roger (Margie) Smith and Gary Smith,

all of Jeromesville, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a

brother, Bill (Mary) Aten of Ashland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Smith,

and a brother, Ralph Aten.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday March 5, 2014 at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville with Rev. Deborah Speer officiating.  Burial will

be in Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
