Obituary

Michael Jay Huff, Born July 29, 1959 in Ashland, Ohio;  has gone on to be with our


Lord Jesus Christ on Friday February 11, 2022, "Mike" was the Bishop and Pastor of


The Church of Jesus Christ, Where he served the Lord and his Gospel with diligence,


passion, and vigor. Through his wisdom and knowledge in God's word, Mike was able


to teach and touch many people's lives; producing many books and tracts of literature


in regard to the gospel and knowing God. Mike was an avid sportsman and he enjoyed


hunting whitetail deer and fishing.


Mike adored the love of his life, Susan Huff, whom he married on June 30, 1984. Mike


owned a business for over 30 years felling trees and grinding stumps where he


developed a love for chainsaws and cutting wood. In this career, Mike took great pride


in a given title of "The Stumpmaster". Mike also spent years working at Guardian


Manufacturing where he loved working with people that were like family. Mike was a


very loving father and devout husband who is survived by his wife Susan Huff of


Mifflin, Ohio, His son Jeremiah and Andrea Huff of lexington, Ohio, His daughter


Charity Huff of Mansfield, Ohio, his daughter Bethany and Jonathan Ivy of Mansfield,


Ohio, His daughter Michelle Huff of Mansfield, Ohio, and his son Joshua Huff of


Mansfield, Ohio. His grandchildren; Justice and Jerilyn Huff, Braylon and Alanta


Hollister, Aveya Ivy, Cataleya Huff and Oliver Woods. Michael is also survived by two


siblings; Jeanee Henslee of Mohavie Valley, Arizona and Doug Huff of Bucyrus, Ohio


and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his father


Robert Lee Huff, his mother Frances Rowland, his sister Linda Derr, his sister Cindy


Miller, and his brother Robert Huff. Michael was also preceded in death by his beloved


grandson Malachi Miracle Piatt.


Calling hours will be Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm; and the funeral will


be held Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 11 am. Services will be held at Fickes


Funeral Home in Jeromesville, Ohio.


Memorial contributions can be made to the family, and prayers for the family are


welcomed and encouraged.
