Mary Lou Steele, 73 of Jeromesville died Tuesday January 10, 2017 at her residence.

She was born February 24, 1943 in Perrysville the daughter of Charles and Catherine

Simmers Aukerman.  She worked at Brethren Care.

She is survived by seven children, Carolyn (Roger) Jackson of Burbank, Connie (Rick)

Anger of Wadsworth, Kenneth (Susan) Steele of Wooster, Karen Neece of Ashland,

Christine (Chuck) Rowe of Ashland, Janet Steele of Jeromesville and Jennifer (Mike)

Watson of Ashland, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a sister, Janice Plant

of Jeromesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth Steele, a son,

Chuck Steele, two sisters, Kitty Sovine and Geraldine Shambaugh and a brother,

Ted Aukerman Sr.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday January 17, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville with Pastor Sue Chidley officiating.  Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial

Park in Wooster.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
