Lucille Smith Banks, 97 formerly of Jeromesville

died Thursday November 22, 2012 at Hospice House.

She was born February 10, 1915 in Ashland Co.

the daughter of Warren and Anna Huff Anderson.

She was a homemaker and had also worked at

Cresco and Faultless.  Lucille was a member of the

Mohicanville Community Church, and where she

played the piano and organ for over 60 years,

starting at age 11.  She also was a very good seamstress.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene (Jim) Anderson

of Jeromesville, two step-daughters, Lois (Reza)

Vahdant-Bana of Hillard and Margaret Hamsher of

Dover, 27 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren,

13 great great-grandchildren, a sister, Lucy Krichbaum

of Loudonville, a brother, Gaylord Anderson

of Ashland, a sister-in-law, Mary McGovern

and two daughters-in-law, Shirley Banks and

Relda Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her

husbands, Karl Smith in 1956 and Matt Banks Sr.

in 1996, a son, Dean Smith in 2003, a grandson,

Eddie Smith in 2012, an infant granddaughter,

Elizabeth Smith, two step-daughters, Barbara

Keener and Mary Rice, a step-son, Matt Banks Jr.,

a step-grandson, Doran Banks, and a step-grandaughter,

Janet Rice.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 28, 2012

at Mohicanville Community Church with Pastor Mike

Nicholson officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery

prior to the service at 10:00 AM.

Friends may call Tuesday November 27, 2012 from 4-7 pm

at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
