Lola Elizabeth McCartney, 82 of Ashland died

Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Good Shepherd

surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 3, 1931 in Ashland Co.

the daughter of William and Marguerite Weitzel

Atterholt.  A graduate of Mansfield Business College

she was an accountant and a member of the Synagogue

Church of God. She also was a homemaker who loved

her family and her cat, Diva and delighted in making her

home, Lola's Palace.

Lola loved shopping and collecting treasures.

She is survived by her husband, William McCartney,

to whom she was married, November 17, 1957,

two daughters, Margaret A. (Steve) Potocnik of

Berwyn, PA and Melissa Allen of Ashland, a

son, William McCartney of Broadview Heights,

3 grandchildren, Jason, Shawn and Katie, three

sisters, Julia Franks of Jeromesville, Becky

Atterholt of Hayesville and Bonnie Morrison of

Hayesville, and a brother, Dan Atterholt of Ashland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother,

David Atterholt and a sister, Ida Mae Fortune.

A private graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday

April 1, 2013 at Ashland Cemetery with Julie Thoms officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the

family with arrangements.
