Lois Adaline Troxel, 89 of Ashland died May 23, 2011 at
Samaritan Regional Health System. She was born July 18, 1921
in Ashland the daughter of Bliss and Ada Raubenolt Fickes.
She worked at Hess & Clark as a Lab Assistant and also
for the Ashland Co. Recorders office where she retired.
Adaline was a member of the Rowsburg Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law,
Karen Ticknor of Ashland, Kay and Tim Kirk of Helena, Alabama,
and Kim and Edward Shafer of Louisville, a son and daughter-in-law,
Kenneth and Sharon Troxel of Wooster, 8 granddaughters,
Robyn (Tom) Ramsay, Renee (Paul) Ward, Heidi (Keith) Spicher,
Amy (Chris) Derrenberger, Heather (Sam) Compton, Haley Davis,
Jill (Matt) Miller and Kari (Kent) Snyder, 12 great-grandchildren,
Sarah, Michael and Stephen Ward, Sabrina and Gabrielle Ramsay,
Noah, Madalynn and Cooper Derrenberger, Tyler, Sadie and Emry
Spicher and Katherine Anne Compton, and two nephews,
Kevin and Rick Lingle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna
Lingle.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 25, 2011 at Rowsburg
Lutheran Church with Pastor Sanford Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in Rowsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling the arrangements.
