Linda Jennette Rogers Hardy, 72, died at Mansfield Ohio Health on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from Covid complications.

Linda was born in Ashland, Ohio, on October 23, 1948, the daughter of John and Doris (Roller) Rogers. She was a lifelong resident of Ashland, and a graduate of Ashland High School. She was employed at Dale Roy for many years before her retirement. She loved the children as her own. Through the years she grieved at the loss of each and every one of them.

She was married to Edwin Hardy, the love of her life, 32 years ago at the Suffield Fellowship Church in Akron, Ohio.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Edwin, sisters, Janice Fridline, Patty Honaker (Joseph), and Mary Ellen Rogers: one brother, John (Cindy) Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dan and Bill Rogers and a brother-in-law, Jacob Fridline.

Linda was a member of the Ashland Christian Church where she made many friends.

Linda was a loving wife, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by the many who loved her.

Because of Covid, there will be a private family service held at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Scot Myers officiating.

Place of interment will be at the Jeromesville Cemetery.
