Lester Davis, 75 of Jeromesville died Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Hospice House.

He was born May 11, 1940 in Poor Bottom, Kentucky, the son of Harvey and Gracie

Rose Davis.  He was a machinist at F.E. Myers and an avid outsdoorman.  Lester

loved being a Grandpa and the most important thing in his life was witnessing his faith.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Williams Davis, to whom he was married September

21, 1963, three daughters, Beverly Heifner of Jeromesville, Geri Martin of Ashland

and Denise Wilkinson of West Salem, 5 grandchildren, Jordan Martin, Rachel Martin,

Tyler Heifner, Nathan Heifner and Luke Wilkinson, a great granddaughter, Gracie

Mae Heifner, three brothers, Chester Davis of Nankin, Paul Davis of Vinton,

OH, Carl Davis of Mansfield, and a sister, Marie Wright of Virgie, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Christine Gunter and Lorine

Mullins and two brothers, Bobby Davis and Danny Davis.

Services will be 11:00 AM Sunday May 17, 2015 at Longfork Free Will Baptist Church

in Virgie, Kentucky with Greg White officiating.  Burial will be in Buddy Ratliff Cemetery

in Poor Bottom, Kentucky.

Friends may call Saturday May 16, 2015 from 3-7 pm at the church.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with local arrangements.
