Kenrick Lee Smith, 59 of Jeromesville died Saturday March 29, 2014 at his residence.

He was born June 28, 1954 in Ashland the son of Dale and Rebecca Tomlinson Smith.

He was a 1972 graduate of Hillsdale High School and a 1976 graduate of Kent State

University.  Kenrick was a Superintendent for Adena Corporation and a member of

the Mohicanville Community Church.  He was a member of the NRA, National Merino

Association, Ohio Merino Association, Richland Co. Gun Collectors Association and the

Ohio Gun Collectors Association.

He is survived by two sons, Nicholas (Sarah) Smith of Jeromesville and Christopher

(Nicole) Smith of Loudonville, three grandchildren, Emily, Trevor and Riley Smith,

his special significant other, Dawn McLaughlin, a brother Kevin (Karen) Smith of

Jeromesville, and a sister, Mary Kay (Ron) Grusenmeyer of Kansas City, Missouri,

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale in 1979, his mother, Rebecca in 2008

and a sister, Karen Smith in 1997.

Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday April 3, 2014 at Mohicanville Community

Church with Pastor Gregg Rowan officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville

Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday April 2, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville.
