Kathleen Funk, 97 formerly of Jeromesville passed away Wednesday

February 11, 2015 at Brethren Care Nursing Home in Ashland.

She was born April 27, 1917 in Alliance, OH the daughter of Phillip

and Alice Roudebush Morckel.

Kathleen spent most of her life in the Jeromesville area.  She was a

well-known Mary Kay Cosmetics representative, enjoyed gardening

and community clubs.  She was  a member of the Jeromesville United

Methodist Church and a graduate of Polk High School.

She is survived by her son, Brent P. (Jennifer) Funk of Sandusky,

two grandchildren, Jordan and Max, and cousins, Margret Mahr and

Evelyn Bolin of Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Funk, an infant

son David and a brother, Howard Morckel.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday February 16, 2015 at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Harvey Studer officiating.  Burial will

be in Jeromesville Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday February 15, 2015

from 3-5 pm at the funeral home.
