Julia Young, 86, of Lakeville died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Loudonville, following an extended illness.

Julia was born on November 8, 1931, in Coshocton, to the late Calvin and Vesta (Burkey) Jacobs, and graduated from Keene High School in 1949.  She had been employed at Clows, in Coshocton, before becoming a homemaker.

Julia is survived by her husband, Marvin Young, whom she married July 15, 1961; a daughter, Andrea Young of Loudonville, and sons Brent and Brian Young, both of Lakeville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers William, Paul, Dean, and Karl Jacobs.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, 46 Co Rd 2575, (McZena) Lakeville with Pastor Angel Jackson officiating.  Fickes Funeral Home, Jeromesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
