Joyce Elaine McGuire, 90 of Hayesville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 30, 2024. She

was born March 23, 1933 in Hayesville the daughter of Don and Margaret Echelberger Van Gilder. She

was a 1951 graduate of Hayesville High School and worked in the office at Hydromatic Pump. Joyce

enjoyed spending time with family, baking cookies for them and was very proud of all of their

accomplishments. She was a member of the Stone Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Cappie (Rusty McClure) Betson of Hayesville, 2 grandchildren, Cori

(Jenny) Betson of Jeromesville and Amy (Jeremy) Jarvis of Hayesville, 3 very special great

grandchildren, Carsten and Olivia Betson and Reece Jarvis, and a sister, Mary Blubaugh of Bucyrus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stanton McGuire on October 18, 2022.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday February 2, 2024 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Rev.

Dr. Miguel Acosta officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.
