John Michael Schweyer, 84 of Jeromesville died Sunday May 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born

April 5, 1933 in Ashland the son of Ernest and Nada Shafer Schweyer. He was a graduate of Ashland

College and a veteran of the U.S. Army. John was a chemist for Merck Corporation and attended

Mohicanville Community Church.

He is survived by a son, Michael Schweyer of Jeromesville, 4 granchildren, 2 brothers, James (Judy)

Schweyer of Jeromesville, and Carroll Schweyer of Ashland, and a sister, Ruth Ann (Jeff) Moran of

California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 27, 2017 at Mohicanville Community

Church with Pastor Ron Phelps officiating. Friends may call Thursday May 25, 2017 from 6-8 pm

at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
