John (Jack) Ellis Whitt Jr., 76 of Jeromesville died Sunday July 17, 2016 at University

Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.  He was born June 7, 1940 in Columbus the son of

John Ellis and Marjorie Butterfield Whitt Sr.  John received his masters degree from

Xavier University.  He was a corporate executive at Rubbermaid and was a True Patriot.

John was an avid motorcycle rider and loved to read, travel and laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Ladonna Pyles Whitt, a son, John Ellis Whitt III, a daughter,

Jonda E. Whitt, a brother, James A. (Linda) Whitt, a sister, Charlene E. (James) Dorrance,

numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law, Martha L. Pyles,

two sisters-in-law, Brenda (Richard) Sweet and Louise (Kent) Reichert and a brother-in-law,

Lu wellyn (Susan) Pyles.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.  Online
