John Oral Canfield Sr., 58 of Apple Creek died Sunday

February 10, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.  He was born

May 29, 1954 in Lodi the son of Howard C. and Mary Norris

Canfield.  He was an assembly man for The Gerstenslager Co.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Canfield of Wooster,

a son, John O. Canfield Jr. of Apple Creek, 2 grandchildren,

five brothers, Howard Canfield of Sullivan, Jim Canfield of Sterling,

Ron Canfield of Apple Creek, Don Canfield of Rittman and Jeff Canfield,

and a sister, Sandy Jason of West Salem.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Canfield.

Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 16, 2013 at The

Church of God in West Salem.  Burial will be at a later date.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with

arrangements.
