Jerry Frank Rice, 82, of Hayesville, Ohio passed away with family at his bedside on March 8, 2022.

Jerry was born February 3, 1940 to Frank and Fern (Rook) Rice.

Jerry enjoyed being a farmer and independent insurance agent.

On October 25, 1997 he married Patricia Weygandt who survives.

He is survived by children Justine McCrae of East Peoria, IL, Jody Luikart of Huron, Julie (Dave) Giebelhausen of East Peoria, IL, Lori (Jay) Laughery of Ashland, and Michael (Melissa) Rice of Jeromesville. Step children Jason (Jackie) Weygandt of West Salem, and Laura (Steve) Baxter of Jeromesville. A brother Stan Rice of Big Prairie. 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Forest "Sonny" Rice.

Services will be Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11am at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services. Burial will take place immediately following services at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.
