Jerry Dean Motter, 75 of rural Hayesville died Monday July 18, 2016 at his residence.

He was born October 1, 1940 in Ashland Co. the son of Carl and Beulah Metcalf Motter.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a truck driver.  Jerry was a

World War II history buff and an avid fisherman.  He loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda LeMasters Motter, of rural Hayesville, three sons, Leroy

Motter of Clyde, Jerry Motter II of Greensboro, NC and Jason Motter of Ashland, a daughter,

LuAnn Motter of Ashland, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a brother, John Motter

of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and a brother.

There will be no services.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
