Jerry Wayne Martin, 68 of Wooster

died Sunday January 29, 2017 at

Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical

Center.  He was born September

23, 1948 in Dover the son of Wilford E. and Lorain Lake Martin.

Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He worked at

Frito Lay and was a member of the Jerome Post 749 American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann Sherwin, a son John (Lisa) Burgett

of Wooster, two daughters, Teresa (John) Plott of Findlay and Kristie (Eric)

Tincher-Boyles of Aurora, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, three

sisters, Jean (John) Kemp of Logan, Utah, Linda (Larry) Morris of Loudonville

and Tricia Martin of Gastonia, NC and a brother, David Martin of Cayce, S.C.

He was preceded in death by parents.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday February 3, 2017 at Fickes Funeral

Home in Jeromesville.

Burial will be in Reedsburg Cemetery where the Ashland Color Guard

will conduct military rites.
