Jerry Deg Garman, 78 of rural Jeromesville died Monday April

24, 2017 at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. He

was born July 25, 1938 in Ashland Co. the son of Lemoyne and

Lena Dague Garman.

He was a 1956 graduate of Jeromesville High School, worked at

Whitaker Merrill, owned and operated Garman Well Drilling and was the former owner of the

Evergreen Tavern. He was a member of the Ashland Elks, the Ashland Eagles, the Shelby

Owls, Butter Tall Timber, the Polk Amvets and the American Legion Jerome Post 749.

He loved tinkering with his antique tractors, and riding his harley with his wife Linda.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Leedy Garman to whom he was married June 16, 1984, two

daughters, Julie (Bob) Bauman of Litchfield, Genia (fiancee` Jim Nelson) Mast of Jeromesville,

a step-son, Alan Meeks of Bellville, a step-daughter, Lisa (Scott) Martin of Jeromesville, 10

grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a sister, Linda (Earl) Heifner of Jeromesville and numerous

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Betty Hall Garman, a daughter, Barb Spotts, a

grandson, Ryan Mast, and two brothers, David and Alan Garman.

Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday April 29, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor

Jerry Rhea officiating. Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday April 28, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
