Jeffrey Lynn Barr, 63 of Hayesville passed away Saturday September 3, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 27, 1958 in Ashland County the son of Robert and Margaret Dalton Barr.

Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Hillsdale High School and worked as a machinist at PR Machine Works.

He was a member of the Hayesville Amvets Post 1969 and the Hayesville United Methodist Church.

Jeff loved to hunt and fish with his brothers, nephews and close friends. He also enjoyed coaching and

umpiring summer softball.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Zimmerman Barr, to whom he was married April 15, 1978, two

daughters, Crystal and Debbie, a granddaughter, Rylee and a brother, Rob Barr of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Barr.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday September 9, 2022 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Layton Broome officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery at Hayesville.

Friends may call Thursday September 8, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
