James Calvin Nebergall, 72 of Ashland and formerly of Hayesville died Sunday February

21, 2016 at Hospice House.  He was born April 27, 1943 in Bellevue the son of John and

Edna Seville Nebergall.  He was a 1961 graduate of Savannah High School and worked at

Hydromatic Pump.  Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and a member

of the Hayesville Vermillion Fire Department for 37 years.  Jim served as the Memorial

Day Parade Marshall for several years and was a youth league umpire for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hawks Nebergall of Hayesville, four sons, Calvin (Clark)

Nebergall of Columbus, Doug (Jenifer) Nebergall of Hayesville, Dave (Kristy) Nebergall of

Hayesville and Derrick (Angela) Nebergall of LaGrange, a daughter, Traci (Annie)

Nebergall of Hayesville, 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Joey, Jessica, Luke, Sara, Dani, Cooper

and Carson Nebergall, his extended family, Merri and Jeff Pycraft and Lori Shoudt, and

their children, Josh, Ethan and Juli Pycraft, and Kaleb, Kyle and Zack Shoudt, three

brothers, Tom (Elaine) Nebergall, Don (Karen) Nebergall and Denny (Loa) Nebergall,

four sisters, Clara Wiley, Sally (Jim) Eagle, Janet (Don) Nalley and Marty (John) Landis,

numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Janet Nebergall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Cynthia, a brother, John

Nebergall, a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rod Williams and a brother-in-law,

Luie Wiley.

Memorial services will be 4:00PM Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Hayesville United

Methodist Church with Pastor Paula Archdeacon officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion

Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call from 2-4pm at the church before the service on Wednesday.
