James Robert (Bob) Freelon, 75 of Jeromesville died Saturday July 26, 2014

at Samaritan Regional Health System.  He was born July 7, 1939 in Graysville

the son of George Thomas and Edna Knife Freelon.  He was a 1958 graduate

of Ashland High School and was a truck driver.  Bob was a member of the

Jeromesville Christian Church were he was a Deacon, Elder and Sunday

school teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Austin Freelon, to whom he was married

September 19, 1959, a daughter, Kass (Bob) Poynter of Jeromesville, a son,

Jim (Lyn) Freelon of Panama City Beach, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 4 great

grandchildren, 2 sisters, Betty Freelon of Ashland and Karen (Jay) Ward

of Bellville and a brother, Roger (Carolyn) Freelon of Wooster.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Freelon.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday July 31, 2014 at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville with Pastor Ron Bachman officiating.  Burial will be in

Jeromesville Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday July 30, 2014 from

6-8 pm at the funeral home.
