James William Franks, 88 of Jeromesville died Tuesday October 2, 2012

at Hospice House.  He was born April 14, 1924 in Holmes Co. the son

of Elten and Clara Heffelfinger Franks.  He was a pipeline inspector

for Columbia Gas and a member of the Jeromesville United

Methodist Church.  Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Tom) Fulk of Jeromesville, a son,

James Patrick Franks of Jeromesville, 2 grandchildren and 3 great

grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rosalie Funk Franks

on February 16, 2002, and two brothers, Donald and Doyle Franks.

Graveside services will be at a later date.  There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
