Iris Marie Nagy, 84 of rural Jeromesville died Friday October 7, 2011

at Brethren Care.  She was born July 12, 1927 in Columbus the daughter

of Edward and Alma O'Brien Noble.  She was a graduate of Ohio State

University.  Iris was a homemaker and a member of the Jeromesville United

Methodist Church.  She loved gardening and animals, having raised St. Bernard's

for several years.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and DeLee Nagy of Jeromesville,

3 grandsons, Devin, Ross and Jay Nagy, and a sister, Mabel Penisten of Chillicothe

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Nagy on August 21, 2004

and a brother, Howard Noble.

Services will be 12:00 PM Monday October 10, 2011 at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville with Rev. Debra Speer officiating.  Burial will be in Ashland Co.

Memorial Park.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday

at the funeral home.
