Howard Ross Steward, 91 of Ashland died Friday June 17, 2011
at his residence.  He was born February 26, 1920 in Ashland Co.
the son of Harley E. and Minnie Bender Steward.  He was a
farmer and member of the Lakefork United Methodist Church.
Howard was an avid coon hunter.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jerry Funk
of Ashland, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and four
sisters, Thelma Reep, Mary (Bill) Aten and Margaret Van Winkle
all of Ashland and Vera (Max) Witmer of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Steward on May 30, 1999
and a daughter, Patty Hiller on June 6, 2007.
Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Fickes Funeral
Home in Jeromesville with Layton Broome officiating.  Burial will be in
Lakefork Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday June 20, 2011 at
the funeral home from 7-9 pm.
