Helen Eileen Smith, 85 of Hayesville died Thursday March 23, 2017 at Ohio Health in Mansfield.  She was born March 9, 1932 in Ashland Co. the daughter of Glen and Bessie Snyder Obrecht.  She worked at Hydromatic Pump for 20 years and was a member of the Mohicanville Community Church.   Eileen was also a member of Lincoln Highway Association, the Search Light Club and Co-Founded Copus Hill Model A Ford Club.
She is survived by Curt Smith, to whom she was married July 8, 1951, and a son, Mark Smith of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Emerson Smith and a brother, Robert Obrecht.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 30, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Paul Lintern officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
