Harold Charles Ream, 82 of Ashland died Sunday October 30, 2011
at his residence after an extended illness. He was born June 30, 1929
in Ashland Co. the son of Edgar L. and Martha Knapp Ream.
He was owner/operator of Ream's Garage and attended St. Matthews
Episcopal Church. Harold was a member of the Hayesville Lions Club
and was a former member of Vermillion Twp. Zoning Appeals Board.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Ducharme Ream, to whom he was
married June 24, 1978, three daughters, Candace Clendenen of
Worthington, Brenda Louden of Ashland, and Joy Luikart, a son,
Gerald Ream of Fleming, OH, a step-son, Robert Killey of Perrysville,
a step-daughter, Gwen Keenan of Tallahassee, FLA, 12 grandchildren,
7 great grandchildren, and 3 sisters, Lois Kilgore of Mansfield, Mary
Rush of Mansfield, and Marlene Malaska of Franklin, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Chuck Ream and a
brother, Richard Ream.
A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 5, 2011 at
St. Matthews Episcopal Church with the Rev. Kay Ashby officiating.
Calling hours will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday in the
church parlor.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with
arrangements.
