Grace M. Moody, 86 of Ashland died Thursday July 19, 2012

at Hospice House.  She was born December 31, 1925 in Ashland Co.

the daughter of Mark and Elsie Gifford Pickworth.  She was a

homemaker and a devoted member of the Stone Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Grace was a volunteer at Samaritan Hospital for 39 years and a voting poll worker for

40 years.

She is survived by her husband Therman Moody, to whom she was married

August 15, 1942, three daughters and sons-in-law, Judith (Larry) Hale of

Granbury, TX, Alice(David) Draper of Ashland and Carrie (Tom) Bennett of

Ashland, a son and daughter-in-law, Dean (Martha) Moody of Wylie, TX,

10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 step

great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Douglas Draper,

a sister, Gwendolyn Glessner and a brother, Gene Pickworth.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 24, 2012 at Stone Evangelical Lutheran

Church with Pastor Jan Berthinee officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday July 23, 2012 from 7-9 pm at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville or one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
