Gloria Love Glover, 83 of rural Ashland died

Wednesday April 15, 2015 at her residence.

She was born April 29, 1931 in Danville, VA

the daughter of John Douglas and Frances Grant Ashword.

She was a woman of faith and  lifelong servant of the Lord.

She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Joe) O'Leary of Mansfield, Susan (Michael) Huff

of Ashland, and Laurie (Steve) Van Guilder of Jeromesville, a son, Gary Glover of

Ashland, a step-daughter, Barbara (Mack) McLawhorn of Chesapeake, VA, a step-son,

Neil (Nancy) Glover of Chesapeake, VA, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great

great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Barbara Vederal of Bronx, NY and Betty Gonce of

Jacksonville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harley Eugene Glover in 2002,

a son, Richard Glover, a granddaughter, Jackie Marie Glover, a great grandson, Malachi

Piatt, a brother, John Ashwood and a sister, Jean Chandler.

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday April 18, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville

with Bishop Harvey Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.  Friends may

call Saturday from 12-2 pm before the service at the funeral home.
