Glenn Doyle Shriver, 86 of Jeromesville died Wednesday September 14, 2016 at Hospice House.  He was born May 9, 1930 in Shreve the son of Calvin and Hazel Yockey Shriver.  He was a 1948 graduate of Shreve High School and a veteran of the Army National Guard.  Glenn was a truck driver and a farmer.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Vickie (Larry Thomas) Shriver of Apple Creek, Randy (Barb) Shriver of Jeromesville and Shyanne (Bill) Koon of Jeromesville, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a sister, June Foltz of Lattasburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Janet Wachtel Shriver on January 31, 2015, a son, Terry Shriver, a great grandson, Sebastian Fortune, a daughter-in-law, Deb Shriver, two brothers, Wayne and Lloyd Shriver and two sisters, Esther Bowman and Helen Chapman.
As per his wishes there will be no calling hours or services.  Private burial will be at a later date at Lakefork Cemetery.
Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
