Obituary

Glenn Alfred Fulk, 92 of Rowsburg died at the

Danbury Woods in Wooster on December 28,

2015 as a result of congestive heart failure and

diabetes.  He was born on Faulk Road on February

12, 1923 and was the first born child of Scott Fulk

and Mabel Thompson Fulk.  He attended Paradise Hill

Elementary School and Union High School, class of 1941.

Glenn was employed at Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company for 37

years and later worked at Ashland City Schools, retiring in 1986.

He married Marie Sauder in 1946.  She preceded him in death in 1982 and he later married

Evelyn Weiler Fulk.  He joined the Navy in 1942 serving in the Pacific, Treasure Island,

Oakland and Peart Harbor until 1946.

He was a member of Rowsburg Lutheran Church, Rowsburg Lions Club, Ashland County

Yesteryear's Club, Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company's 25 year club and a past member

of Rowsburg Cemetery Association.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Fulk of Rowsburg, his daughter, Jodi (Tim) Schmidt of Toledo,

a step-son, William (Mary) Barnes of Mansfield, two grandsons, Adam and Peter (Lisa)

Schmidt of Toledo, a step-granddaughter, Carla Chapan of California, four great grandsons,

Addison, Aidan, Dylan and Charles, all of Toledo, two sisters,  Joan Remy and Norma

(Charles) Ritter of Pavonia, three brothers, Herbert (Peggie) Fulk of Ashland, Harold Fulk

of Mansfield and Lester (Melinda) Fulk of Ashland, a sister-in-law, Mary Fulk of Mansfield

and a step-brother, Seven (Patty) Yerger of Lititz, Pennsylvania, two step children, Mary

(Jeff) Williams of Delaware, OH and William (Kathy) Weiler of Rowsburg, four step-

grandchildren, Megan Williams of Columbus, David Weiler and Jason (Shannon) Weiler

of Rowsburg, Matt Williams, serving in the U.S. Navy and two step great grandchildren,

Brandon and Raelee Weiler of Rowsburg, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his first wife he was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Anna

Yerger Fulk, his brother, Donald Fulk, a step-granddaughter, Debbie Shokapz and a

step-great granddaughter, Kelsey Myking.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday December 31, 2015 at the Rowsburg Lutheran

Church with Pastor Paul Lintern officiating.  Burial will be at the Lantz Cemetery State

Route 39 Mansfield where military rites will be conducted by the Ashland Honor Guard.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
