Obituary

Glenn Wilmer Acker, 85 of Funk died Sunday March 5, 2017 at his residence.  He was born November 24, 1931 in Wayne Co. the son of Ralph and Carrie Wise Acker.  He was a molder for U-Brand.  Glenn enjoyed NASCAR and the Cleveland Indians, as well as working in his garage and welding for his neighbors.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Morris Acker to whom he was married April 14, 1951, three sons, Melvin (Wanda) Acker of Millbrook, Marvin (Virginia) Acker of Massillon and Philip (Jean) Acker of Apple Creek, two daughters, Leanne (Bill) Robison of Wooster and Karen (Gary) Ewing of Millersburg, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Paul, Robert and Lester Acker and a sister, Helen Wile.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 9, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Bill Lawson officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
