Gerald Leon Cline, 76, of Hayesville passed away

Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Kingston of Ashland.

He was born October 15, 1936 in Graysville, Ohio to Earl

and Pearl (Holland) Cline.  He was past co-owner of Cline

Bros. Tree Service; was devoted to his grandchildren and

great grandchildren; and loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Loved and deeply missed by his friends and family, Leon is survived by his wife,  Betty

(Hensel) Cline, whom he married November 18, 1958; his daughter, Cindy

Shenberger of Hayesville; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol-Ann Cline of

Perrysville; four grandchildren, Sabrina Shenberger, Samantha Shenberger, Kevin

Cline and Craig Cline; three great-grandchildren, Bryceton, Caitlyn and Madilyn;

and his mother-in-law Bernadine Cline.  He is also survived by six brothers, Gene

(Eilene) Cline, Dean (Donna) Cline, Dick (Twila) Cline, Rodney (Pat) Cline, Larry

(Linda) Cline and Randy Cline; and three sisters, Norma Jean (John) Harmon,

Darlene (Roger) Dye and Sue (Pete) English.  He was preceded in death by his parents,

Earl and Pearl (Holland) Cline, and three brothers, Lynn (Cathy) Cline, Donald

(Jinny) Cline and Edward (Pat) Cline.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Fickes Funeral

Home, 84 North High Street, Jeromesville, where funeral services will be held at 11

am Monday, February 11, 2013, with Pastor Wendy Guoin officiating. Burial will

follow in Hayesville Vermillion Cemetery, Hayesville, Ohio, with a luncheon for

friends and family immediately following at the Hayesville United Methodist Church,

44 South Mechanic Street, Hayesville, Ohio.

The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Hillsdale Athletic

Boosters or the Hayesville/Vermillion Township Volunteer Fire Department.
