Gerald Leroy Baldner, 84 formerly of Jeromesville area passed away Thursday April 4,

2024 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. He was born April 19, 1939 in Holmes County

the son of Clarence Andrew(Andy) and Lucille Arnholt Baldner. Gerald was a 1958

graduate of Jeromesville High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served on the

USS Ticonderoga. He was a hog farmer, a machinist for Borg Warner and a member of

the West Hill Baptist Church. Gerald loved gardening and enjoyed raising exotic birds.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin Baldner and John Baldner both of Jeromesville, five

grandchildren, Andrew, Denver, Sawyer, Kyley and Victoria Baldner, three brothers, Ralph

(Bonnie) Baldner of Jeromesville, Ray (Kathy) Baldner of Ashland and Carl (Barb) Baldner

of Jeromesville, and twosisters, Wilma (Fred) Watkins of Mentor and Carol (Jeff) Way of Jeromesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce Flickinger Baldner on March 1, 2021.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be in Lakefork Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral Home.
