George Richard Kaufman, 90 of Jeromesville died Monday

January 16, 2012 at Samaritan Regional Health System.

He was born October 9, 1921 in Fredricktown the son of

John and Ida Darr Kaufman.  He was a World War II veteran

of the U.S. Army and a Farmer.  George was a member of

the Jeromesville Trinity Lutheran Church since 1956 where

he served on the Church Council for a number of years.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law,

Tom (Karen) Kaufman of Jeromesville, Stanley (Bryn) Kaufman

of Perrysville, and Scott (Carol) Kaufman of Blissfield, Michigan,

a daughter and son-in-law, Janice (Joe) Alaura of Cardington,

12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren,

3 step great grandchildren, and  2 sisters, Dorothy Steward of Canton

and Gladys Elliot of Struthers, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Helen

Kaufman on December 9, 1997, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday January 21, 2012 at

Jeromesville Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jerry

Rhea officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday

at the church.
