Evelyn Carol (Cookie) Shopbell, 78 of Ashland passed away Tuesday March 3, 2020 at OhioHealth

Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 22, 1941 in Ashland the daughter of Carl and Buelah

Anderson Wynn. Evelyn loved flowers and was in a garden club. She also entered flower

arrangements in the Ashland County Fair, winning many ribbons. Cookie owned and operated Ashland

Beauty and Cut and retired in 2003.

She is survived by her husband, David Shopbell to whom she was married June 21, 1964, her children,

Jason (Lisa) Shopbell and Adam Shopbell, 3 grandchildren, Steven Cross, Alyssa Shopbell and Taylor

Shopbell, and a sister, Linda Pettit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ed Wynn and a sister, Helen Cross.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday March 10, 2020 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville

with Pastor Dave Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
