Eva Sophia Hassinger McKinley, 103 died Monday April 30, 2012

at Crystal Care Center.  She was born July 30, 1908 in Ashland Co.

the daughter of LaVerne and Frances Mary Stauffer Hassinger.

Eva graduated from Hayesville High School in 1925 and was a homemaker.

She was a former member of Synagogue Church of God and had most

recently attended Ashland 3rd St. Brethren and had been a 35 year resident

of Martin House Apartments in Ashland.

Eva hooked rugs, crocheted and quilted.

She is survived by two sons, Clayton (Joan) McKinley of Ruggles and Perry

McKinley of Jeromesville, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Edgar McKinley

in 1970, a son, Kenneth McKinley in 1990, a daughter, Ruth McKinley

Robinson in 2002, a grandson, Kib McKinley in 1972

and three brothers, Ralph, Howard and Harold Hassinger.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 3, 2012 at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville with Chaplain Don Earlenbaugh officiating.  Burial will

be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.  Friends may call one hour

prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
