Obituary

Eugene Clyde Kenyon, 84 of Jeromesville, Ohio died

at his home March 3, 2014 and will once again be next

to his wife, Nina Mae (Fox), in a private family graveside

service at Reedsburg Cemetery on Thursday March 6,

2014.  Layton Broome pastor of Lakefork United

Methodist Church will officiate.

He was born June 23, 1929 in Orwell, Ohio to Clyde and Phoebe

(Clark) Kenyon, deceased.  He was the youngest of seven children,

2 brothers and 4 sisters, all deceased.

He and Nina Mae were married in Jefferson, Ohio on May 9, 1952.

She preceded him in deat on March 24, 2013.

He graduated from Austinburg High School (Ashtabula Co.). He served

in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956 in the 3rd Armor Division at

Fort Knox.

He was a dairy farmer in Ashtabula Co. and raised grain crops in Ashland

Co. and raised crops in Ashland Co.  He enjoyed working with draft

horses most of his life.  He was a journeyman electrician, at one time

operating Kenyon Electric in Jefferson, Ohio.  He also worked at

Conneaut Dock and retired from Regalware in Wooster.

He is survived by 6 children: Margo Kenyon, James (Pat) Kenyon and

Amy Kenyon (Steve Esbenshade) of Ashland Co., Sara (Terry) Craven

of Georgia, Lorraine (Devin) Pelton of Texas and Arthur (Victoria)

Kenyon of Colorado.  He was proud of 13 grandchildren and seven

great grandchildren.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling the arrangements.
