Ethel Jane Ramsey, 89 of Ashland died Saturday August 23, 2014

at Samaritan Regional Health System.  She was born January 23,

1925 in Richland Co., the daughter of Joseph and Alma Strang Craig.

She was a 1942 graduate of Loudonville High School and a member

of the Hayesville United Methodist Church.  Ethel was a homemaker,

a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Ramsey, two daughters,

Kathleen (Terry) Pore of Shiloh, and  Diane (Ed) Daniher of Newark,

two sons, Stephen (Toni Jo) Ramsey of New Marshfield and David

(Krista) Ramsey of Cincinnati, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren,

two sisters, Lois Yunker of Galion and Mary Wise of Jeromesville, and

a brother, William Craig of Shreve.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Megan

Ramsey.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday August 27, 2014 at Hayesville

United Methodist Church with Rev. Paula Archdeacon officiating.

Friends may call 1 ½  prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling the arrangements.
