Esther Laurene Donelson, 72 of rural Jeromesville died Friday April 21, 2017 at Danbury Woods in

Wooster. She was born June 23, 1944 in Shreve the daughter of John and Jennie Butts Pixler.

She was a clerk at Wm. Annat's  and worked at Smetzer's Tire.  She was a member of the Wooster

1st Church of God and graduated from Shreve High School.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Donelson to whom she was married May 16, 1965, a son,

Michael (Lacrisha) Donelson of Hilliard, a daughter, Michelle (Jason) Van DeWater, 4 grandchildren,

Leah and Lauren Donelson, and Katie and Carley Van DeWater and a sister, Ruth (Gary) Cripe of

Jeromesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Naomi "Pixie" Daugherty.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating.  Burial will be in New Pittsburg Cemetery.  Friends may call

Tuesday April 25, 2017 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
