Emma Marie Fortune, 74 of Mifflin died Monday

January 26, 2015 at MedCentral.

She was born March 19, 1940 in Ashland Co. the

daughter of John and Eva Mae Ayers Lutz.  She was a

homemaker and retired as a janitor from Hayesville Elementary.

Emma enjoyed southern gospel music and attended church when she could.

She is survived by a son, Mike (Deb) Fortune of Ashland, 2 grandchildren, 2

great grandchildren, a sister, Marcella Beasley of Ashland, and 2 brothers, Marion

Lutz and Dale Lutz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fortune, 5 sisters, Lucille Spring,

Maxine Smith, Nadine Baker, Kay Irene Lutz and Donna Fortune, 3 brothers,

Alvin Lutz, John Robert Lutz and James Edward Lutz.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 29, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home

in Jeromesville with Dean Zellner officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery

at Hayesville.   Friends may Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the

funeral home.
